These umbrellas are made with a natural canvas cotton and feature a hand knotted trim. It fits in a standard umbrella stand available at most patio furniture stores.. The wooden pole fits in most standard patio umbrella stands and knocks down in the middle for easy shipping. Our umbrellas are made of natural cotton that has not been treated for waterproofing or UV. If you want to use them for extended outdoors (not just put out for special event and store again) you will need to treat it with an outdoor fabric spray.
