Our towels are block printed onto Khadi fabric, a hand-woven and hand-spun fabric that gained popularity in the early 1900s thanks to Mahatma Gandhi.
Hand Block Printed
Towels are printed on one side. Due to the nature of hand block printing, dye may be seen on the reverse side, print and color may vary from piece-to-piece, and placement of print may not always be exact as everything is handmade and human error does occur. This enhances the artistic nature of hand block printing.
